American Fedration Government Employees Local 1923

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Local 1923, AFL-CIO is the largest federal employee Union representing more than 30,000 federal employees. Workers in virtually all functions of government at every federal agency depend upon AFGE for legal representation, legislative advocacy, technical expertise and informational services.

AFGE Local 1923 believes that all Unions should belong to the house of labor and has been nationally affiliated with the AFL-CIO since it was founded on August 2, 1959. Our Local President is Anita Autrey. She is an active participant in Local 1923, working to enhance and energize the labor movement for our members.
